A note from Jessica, Jonty’s mother…
Jonty entered the world in March 2011 showing a strength and determination that many can only dream of. All signs were that he wouldn’t survive his arrival into this world, but Jonty had other ideas!
Jonty has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy caused by his traumatic arrival, which means he is not able to move independently, crawl, walk, stand alone or live independently.
Despite this, he never fails to amaze and warm the hearts of those he encounters.
As he enters his early teens, Jonty is growing like a weed and finding his own voice despite his profound disabilities. We strive to enable him to live as full and independent a life as possible, but this comes at a great cost.
Jonty’s recent growth spurt means that he now needs two new wheelchairs – one manual, and a new powerchair, and two new walkers as he requires a different one for daily use and one for sporting activities.
Any funds raised will go towards Jonty’s new manual wheelchair, which will cost £3,270.
We are enormously grateful to our friends, family, and the local community, all of whom have been such fabulous supporters of our little superhero over his 11 tumultuous years. A huge thank you, from our family to you all.
